Joshua’s Courage.

Message Of The Day 8/21/2017.

After the death of Moses the servant of God , God spoke to Joshua, Moses’ assistant: “Moses my servant is dead. Get going. Cross this Jordan River, you and all the people. Cross to the country I’m giving to the People of Israel. I’m giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on—just as I promised Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon east to the Great River, the Euphrates River—all the Hittite country—and then west to the Great Sea. It’s all yours. All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I’ll be with you. I won’t give up on you; I won’t leave you. Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don’t get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you’re going. And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed. Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. God , your God, is with you every step you take.”
Joshua 1:9 MSG
Just like Joshua you can trust God to break barriers and set up the new normal. ALL YOU NEED IS TO PUT YOUR TRUST IN JESUS.

Jesus’ Misery

This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it’s out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple. That is the substance of our Message. We preach Christ , warning people not to add to the Message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less. That’s what I’m working so hard at day after day, year after year, doing my best with the energy God so generously gives me.
Colossians 1:26‭-‬29 MSG

Looking up to God.

Hurry with your answer, God ! I’m nearly at the end of my rope. Don’t turn away; don’t ignore me! That would be certain death. If you wake me each morning with the sound of your loving voice, I’ll go to sleep each night trusting in you. Point out the road I must travel; I’m all ears, all eyes before you. Save me from my enemies, God — you’re my only hope! Teach me how to live to please you, because you’re my God. Lead me by your blessed Spirit into cleared and level pastureland.

Psalm 143:10 MSG

Message Of The Day: August 15th, 2017.

Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on in this with us, believing and proclaiming God’s Message, from the day you heard it right up to the present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.

Philippians 1:6 MSG

Message of The Day. August 14th 2017.

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

Romans 8:26‭-‬28 MSG

Truest Love

We live in a society where we have Hollywood and the entertainment world dictate and premiere the definition of love to us.

According to most entertainment work, love is displayed or portrayed as an ‘uncontrollable feeling and lust towards someone’. This is nothing but Lust.

The truest love can only be found in God’s definition and action. It’s not based on feelings and affections but action.

John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”, this is the genesis and pinnacle of love.

Following God’s pattern of loving is a duty to give ourselves to caring for everyone irrespective of religion, nationality, race and sexuality.

You love because you have been loved by Jesus (1 John 4:19).

The Good Law Can’t Save

When you ask an average person what does Christianity really entails? There response is often: “it’s a belief system based on rules and regulations that makes you good and empowers you to do good”.

The first thing to establish is the true meaning and understanding of Christianity. Is it about living a life based on a set of rules and regulations called the Law, which leads to “legalism”? Or life apart from the Law, which leads “licentiousness”?

The law shows our imperfections and sin, but it’s powerless to save us from sin and imperfections. In fact the Law is the strength of sin (1 Corinthians 15:56).

Does this make the law evil? Absolutely not, the law itself is awesome (Romans 7:7-12) because it help us to keep ourselves from potential harm or danger that would have ruined our lives.

If obeying or observing the Law can’t grant me righteousness or salvation, what then can save me?

Galatians 2:21 tells us that if righteousness (right standing with God) can be obtained through obeying or observing the Law, then Jesus died for nothing. Ephesians 2:8 informs us that we’re saved by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus alone.

Therefore our righteousness, holiness, perfection, redemption and salvation is solely found in the person and work of Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:30-31).

Don’t expect your perfection from any Law but from Jesus alone.
